So I finally took some time off of work. Not really anything in particular going on since I couldn’t find anyone to go to Spain with me. Made the best of it though, got a haircut, went to the Science Museum and saw the Pompeii exhibit and an Imax movie. I downloaded the audio tour for the exhibit ahead of time and listened to it on my iPod while I was there. It was a really cool exhibit. There was this cute girl in line behind me with a little boy. She was telling him how they were going to see a movie about Greece. He gets all excited and starts saying the words from the John Travolta song. She says, no no no, not Grease but Greece. She spent about 5 minutes trying to get him to understand. It was fairly hilarious. Later, I went treasure hunting at thrift stores and found a brand spanking new (still in box!) 26 year old vintage Commodore C-16 computer for $4 bucks. The box is kind of beat up but inside the PC is still in it’s original sealed package. Haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. Also just downloaded the new Smashing Pumpkins record that came out today. iTunes had a bunch of bonus tracks that went with it. Just now started listening to it…
