DTV4PC Review Update

Wednesday, September 5, 2007 4:34 pm

Just to follow-up, pretty much immediately after writing the review below I’ve been trying to get my money back as part of their “30 Day Money Back guarantee”. To date there have been no responses to my emails asking to pursue a refund. Just thought you’d like to know…

I really want to thank you guys for the info. and insight. My 93 year old father who lives in remote Kentucky was ready to get this but I told him what I found and saved him from the rip-off. Mucho Gratias

Just another scam, absolutely useless and it wants to install a program update after every start. If you just click the right top corner cros to shut that annoying window then it still closes your computer. Something very suspicious. I would like to be face to face to this people, but suppose that they are not even worth the time spent for this. I learned my lesson.

Just received the same offer in an email from “Live TV for your PC”. There was an image in the email that indicated it may be even a more obvious scam than the initial review indicates. The image was set to down load from armageddon.com, maybe an inside joke, or other scamers are picking up on the offer, but I am not laughing.

You can get a better deal for free at: http://wwitv.com/
Access over 2800 TV stations from around the world. It uses Realplayer – Media Player – Quicktime – Winamp software. Of course the faster you internet connection is the better the stream is.

Wished I had seen these comments before I purchased DTV4PC. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!
I have requested refund. I got the extra bit for on demand Tv, everything that I try to access is “Currently unavailable”.
Total rip off.

Thank you all – I was seriously considering this because I would like to have access to foreign channels. Your comments have saved me from the frustration, the disappointment, and the cost.

I noticed that when you tried to talk to an online associate and asked them a direct question they couldnt understand simple questions like “what is your return policy” so I had a feeling something was fishy and of course when purchasing something its nice to search reviews of the products first. I actually took the high road for once

Its also funny that “Mark” is the only one who had a good review amazing all this poor feedback and Mark loves the service. RED HERRING!!!

Jgagger wrote a comment on Wednesday, September 16, 2009

That’s because “Mark” works for them as a RINGER to provide favorable reviews. I work for MicroSoft doing
the same thing, and I tell the facts as they are – most of the time ; or if they offer me more $$ – as I find the facts to be.
